Saizen (on left) is father to our little Yasu (on right). She is not a breeding female but one I kept because she wormed her way into my heart. This regal breed is energetic, sweet, loyal and devoted to its humans. They love running and playing both inside and outside, and are great with other animals and children. They are very catlike in how they use their paws and they love giving lots of kisses. In all the years I have bred animals and had animals I was very wise to choose this breed and very fortunate that breeders gave me the opportunities they did. If you chose a Japanese Chin as a companion you will have a wonderful companion for a very long time. But you don't own a chin, they own you, they are sometimes too smart, and grooming is so easy so don't be afraid of their long coat. They rarely mat and are often referred to as the wash and wear dog. They prefer to sleep on a pile of pillows on your bed when allowed. They are most happy by your feet or in your lap but often as long as they see where you are they can be content. I hope you enjoy going through my website as I lead you to other pages and other websites of information on this wonderful breed.
